    RESILIENSI JANDA TSUNAMI PASKA 10 TAHUN BENCANA TSUNAMI DI BANDA ACEH

    Pada 26 Desember 2004 Provinsi Aceh terkena dampak tsunami terparah, yang mengakibatkan kerusakan infrastuktur dan kehilangan anggota keluarga khususnya istri yang kehilangan suami dan anak sehingga menjadi janda dan harus membangun kehidupan normal kembali, yang disebut dengan resiliensi. Resiliensi adalah kemampuan individu dewasa ketika mengalami peristiwa yang mengancam kehidupan dan kehilangan orang yang dicintai untuk membangun kembali kehidupan yang normal secara fisik dan psikologis sehingga mendapatkan pengalaman baru dan emosi positif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bagaimana resiliensi pada janda tsunami pasca 10 tahun bencana tsunami di Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga orang janda tsunami yang berada pada rentang usia dewasa tengah (40-65 tahun) di Banda Aceh yang memiliki tanggung jawab untuk menafkahi keluarga, yang dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Proses pengambilan data menggunakan metode wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dua janda tsunami yang resilien memiliki kepribadian tangguh, peningkatan diri, mampu mengatasi masalah melalui koping emosi, mendapat pengalaman baru dan emosi positif. Hasil lainnya menunjukkan bahwa satu janda tsunami belum sepenuhnya mengalami resiliensi, dikarenakan responden tidak merasakan kehidupan pasca tsunami yang lebih baik dibandingkan sebelum tsunami terjadi dan kondisi kesehatan yang menurun menyebabkan responden tidak merasakan hikmah dibalik peristiwa tsunami. Pada penelitian ini ditemukan faktor lain yang memengaruhi resiliensi janda tsunami yaitu dukungan sosial, kebersyukuran, semangat karena keberadaan anak dan cucu, serta hidup lebih beruntung dibandingkan orang lain.Kata kunci: Resiliensi, Janda Tsunami, Paska 10 Tahun Bencana Tsunami, Banda AcehOn December 26, 2004 earthquake and tsunami that struck Aceh Province, that caused damage to infrastructure and lost of family members, especially the wife who lost her husband, and children so that they have become a widows and had to build a normal life again, this is called resilience. Resilience is the ability of adult person when experiencing events that threaten the lives and lost of the loved ones to rebuild a normal life physically and psychologically to gain new experiences and positive emotions. The purpose of this study to determine how the resilience of widows who lost her husband caused by tsunami after ten years in Banda Aceh. This study used a qualitative method with phenomenological approach. Respondents in this study were three widows who are in middle adult age range (40-65 years) in Banda Aceh who have responsibility to her family, were selected using purposive sampling technique. The data were collected by using interview and observation. The result showed that two resilient widows had hardiness, self-enhancement, and able to overcome the problem through emotion-coping. Another result showed that one of a widow has not fully experienced the resilience, because the respondent did not feel better life after 10 years tsunami than before tsunami came and declining of health condition caused respondent did not feel the wisdom after tsunami disaster. This study found other factors which are social supports, gratitude, passion to provide life for children and grandchildren, and live more fortunate than others, could influence the resilience of the widows.Keywords: Resilience, Widows of Tsunami, 10 years after Tsunami Disaster, Banda Ace

    The role of parents in children's education is very influential on the emotional development of children, the character and attitudes of children, especially children with special needs who in their daily lives still need the role of other people to carry out their activities. Even so, it does not mean that children with special needs become children who are dependent on other people, but if in their daily lives they are educated patiently, repeatedly at least the child can become independent and can get used to their activities. The role of parents in children with special needs can be classified as parents who have roles as motivators, mentors, supervisors, good examples and provide facilities for children's needs and religious facilities. In this study using qualitative research methods by conducting interviews as data collection. After analyzing the data, the researcher can conclude that the role of parents in Islamic religious education has an important role for children by allowing children to go to school, escorting children and accompanying children patiently according to the different ability conditions experienced by children with special needs.
